It is my great pleasure to welcome you all in the Department of General science. On behalf of the department I genuinely assure all the prospective undergraduates to endow with quality education in Bachelors Level Programme in Physical Science, Biological Science, Microbiological Science and Environmental science. At the inception phase this department had students only in physical group. But at present we offer a range of course to fit students' requirement of nowadays. Our curriculum and classes have continued to incorporate new advances and upgrading such as B.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, Environment Science and Microbiology. From the academic session 2077/2078 we are going to introduce Botany as new subject in the curriculum. The department is backed up by well-equipped and furnished laboratories and classrooms in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Environment Science and GIS .The department has an independent library with ample numbers of text books and reference books to ease up the academic excellence of the students. This department has highly qualified, outstanding, dedicated, enthusiastic and renowned team of teaching faculties, laboratory staffs and administrative staffs to ensure excellent education delivery and outcome. The country is still lacking in having necessary numbers of skilled and competent manpower in the field of science and technology and our mission is to fulfil this gap by budding students of prominent calibre, scholarly curiosity and strong ethical character. We are committed to provide practical, value-based and goal-oriented education of the 21st century, by dint of which we design the best desired manpower in the present world. Lastly, I am highly confident and optimist that the Department of General Science will be a hub of excellence in multi-disciplinary areas of science and technology.
